DHA City has now been handed over to Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Lahore for administrative purposes. The DHA City housing society has been renamed as “DHA Lahore Phase XIII”. A case in the highest court of Pakistan i.e. Supreme Court was pending for many months and a verdict has been finally given which has given DHA Lahore the authority to take control of the administrative responsibilities of the society.
DHA City project will be developed by DHA Lahore from now on and the development has to be completed within the time frame provided by the society to the investors. The possession of the plots has to be given to the file holders as soon as possible. According to the courts order the name of the project will also be changed from DHA City to DHA Lahore Phase XIII.
DHA Lahore has given confirmation that all issues of the file holders will be resolved according to the Supreme Court’s orders. The issue is to be resolved within the time frame provided by the supreme court and acceptable timeframe for the file holders. DHA is at the moment finalising and confirming the list of file holders to be processed. According to the announcements of DHA a new allocation letter will be issued to the people who have DHA City files after the verification process is completed.
